Withdrawal, distance contracts and your deliverables
Business customers and international distance contracts
Our offering is exclusively for businesses, self-employed professionals and organisations ordering for their business activity. German distance-selling law generally provides no statutory consumer withdrawal right for these B2B contracts. We grant no additional voluntary withdrawal right. Agreed termination rights, warranty rights and other mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Customers from any country may enquire. Availability, contract terms and tax treatment are checked for the relevant country. Mandatory provisions of the law that actually applies prevail; a business declaration or choice of law cannot remove mandatory protections.
Where mandatory consumer withdrawal rights apply
The following notice applies only where you have a statutory consumer right to withdraw from the relevant distance or off-premises service or digital contract. This notice does not open consumer sales.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period is fourteen days from conclusion of the contract and does not begin before proper withdrawal information has been supplied. Inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or letter. Sending your statement before the deadline is sufficient.

Following a valid withdrawal we reimburse payments received without undue delay, within fourteen days of receiving the statement, normally using the original payment method without a reimbursement fee. If you expressly requested services to begin during the withdrawal period, a legally permitted proportionate payment for services already supplied may be due, provided all information and consent requirements were met.
Starting performance and early expiry
For paid services, early expiry requires full performance and, before performance starts, express consent to early performance and acknowledgement of losing the right after full performance; applicable form and confirmation requirements must also be met. For digital content without a tangible medium, express consent, acknowledgement, commencement and the legally required contract confirmation are particularly necessary. Creating a website alone does not fully perform an ongoing Studio licence.
Use, login or website creation do not replace these requirements. Consent must not be preselected or inferred from use. Statutory withdrawal rights remain where expiry requirements have not been met.
Your website remains your deliverable
After normal expiry or valid termination of the Studio licence, you retain created project files and agreed usage rights. Studio claims no ownership of your websites. Studio access and included server operation end with the purchased term. Third-party, open-source, media and trademark rights still apply. The legal consequences of a valid withdrawal and rights in third-party content are assessed separately.
